GroupBMadnessOnWheels Video: Group B – Madness on Wheels

Group B. The era of rallying that has turn into famous (and in some instances, infamous) for the amazing speed and daring of not only the automobiles, but the drivers as well. The 1980′s saw the popularity of rally racing skyrocket to amounts of which the planet had never noticed. In simple fact, it was the only time in background that rally of any variety surpassed the grandiose spectacle that is F1.

It was the era of legend. The era that defined and immortalized the sport. If you were to search “rally” on Google images at this very moment, the page would be filled with the iconic photos of Group B spectators standing mere steps from maniacal rally drivers pushing eleven/10ths. Okay, that may possibly be an exaggeration. There is precisely one Group B picture if you have been to really search “rally” on Google Photos. But the pantomime of the total circumstance stands correct, whether or not or not the metaphor was exaggerated.

The creators of the excellent expose on some of the most fatal years of Grand Prix racing (Grand Prix: The Killer Years), have just released their newest documentary on Group B entitled Madness on Wheels.

Take a look at the trailer beneath and place it on full display. It seems to be like it will be very, very very good.

2013 SRT Viper Interior 1 SRT Drops First Teaser Photo of the New 2013 Vipers Interior
After SRT failed to get 2013 “likes” in 2013 minutes on its Facebook page to show us the next Viper, the moderators took a different approach asking for 300 “shares” on a new status, a goal that was achieved rather swiftly.

2013 SRT Viper HW 1 SRT Drops First Teaser Photo of the New 2013 Vipers InteriorSo, here we are with what could be that last teaser before the actual reveal of the brand-new Viper on April 4 at the 2012 New York International Auto Show, unless SRT has more competitions in mind…

What you see is the next Viper’s interior with a shot taken from the front and in an angle from the driver’s position showing part of the center console, the red sport seats and the manual gearbox shifter.

We still don’t get any information on the specs of the car, but most seem to agree that the ‘snake’ will continue to receive power from a V10 engine driving the rear wheels through a manual gearbox (probably a 6-speed unit if our eyes aren’t playing games with us).
