Next gen SSC Ultimate Aero – fastest car in the world
Manufacturer extreme hypercar – American company Shelby Super Cars – declassified second generation of its legendary sports car SSC Ultimate Aero. This car, despite the fact that he did not participate yet in any of the record check, have hastened to christen the “killer Bugatti Veyron”.
At one time, SSC Ultimate Aero TT first generation was officially recognized as the fastest production car in the world. American hypercar could accelerate to 412 km / h, and this is the result recorded by the representatives of Guinness Book of Records. But this year, upgraded Bugatti Veyron Super Sport in the presence of the same representatives of the Guinness Book of Records was able to show the result in 431 km / h, becoming thus the fastest production car world.
But it seems that the French Bugatti long will hold the title. Back in August, Shelby Super Car at a private presentation introduced a new monster – SSC Ultimate Aero II. The design of SSC Ultimate Aero II worked as the current chief designer SAAB Jason Kastriot, once famed for such cars as the Maserati Birdcage, Pininfarina Ferrari P4 / 5 and Bertone Mantide. Kastriot again managed to create a highly original way, which, however, guessed his previous work.
