TRD FJ Cruiser Concept gets Baja-themed off-roading capability
TRD, Toyota’s in-house tuning arm has revealed the details and images of a new FJ Cruiser Concept that will make its debut at the 2013 SEMA Show. The TRD FJ Cruiser Concept takes a look into studying a Baja-themed off-roader.
“TRD’s work on high-performance off-road variants of Toyota vehicles goes back a number of years,” said Keith Dahl, Toyota’s national manager of engagement marketing and motorsports. “The FJ-S is a great example of their off-road expertise.”
TRD has upgraded the chassis/body structure for more serious off-roading capabilities and has also added an underbody “exoskeleton.”
