Opel plots 10-point plan to return to profitability

The boss of Common Motors’ European operations has outlined a ten-point program for turning around Opel and Vauxhall and returning them to profitability as quickly as attainable.

Toyota RAV4: V6 out, diesel in for 2013 model

There will be no “200 killer wasps” advertisements for the next-generation Toyota RAV4 SUV due in early 2013, with the Japanese brand axing the much more effective, V6 variant in favour of a new four-cylinder diesel.

Toyota has however to announce particulars or reveal photographs of its all-new RAV4, although CarAdvice understands the V6 will not form part of the engine line-up as Toyota as an alternative opts for two four-cylinder engines.
