After a mild refresh for the 2010 model year, we should expect the next big change for the CX-7 to arrive around 2012/2013. Anticipate seeing the CX-7 retain its size and features while it introduces new, even more efficient power trains.
The 2010 Mazda CX-7 achieved success with its refreshing sporty style and cutting-edge interior design even though the EPA mpg rating for the all-wheel drive models is an unremarkable 17/23 city/highway. The new car has been shown to the public for the first time at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. The Sport version of Mazda CX7 would have some superb standard features like anti-lock brakes, power locks, dynamic stability control, power windows, cruise control, air conditioning and traction control. The 2013 Mazda CX-7 is also going to have some exquisite optional features such as cargo net, moon roof, rearview camera, DVD navigation system, trailer hitch receiver, Bose audio system, keyless entry and six-CD changer with voice control. Pricing info is scarce but the all-wheel drive version will probably be available at a price just under $ 26,000.
The car also comes with some fabulous safety features such as curtain airbags and front with side airbags too. The Touring version is going to have heating for the front seats, retractable cargo area cover, leather seats and power adjustments for driver’s seat. The Grand Touring version for 2013 Mazda CX7 shall boast with (HID) high-intensity discharge headlamps, automatic climate controls, fog lamps, chromed door handles, black stripes down the middle of the seats etc. The 2013 Mazda CX-7 is going to get its power from 2.3 liter 4-cylinder engine that gives near to 250 horsepower with 258 pound feet of torque. A new in house built 6-speed automatic transmission is expected to replace the old one. It is all because of the six-speed automatic transmission system, the all new 2013 Mazda CX-7 might improve fuel economy of 23 miles per gallon.
